Favorite dungeon of all time?

Post by Halaster Blackcloak »

We all know that Undermountain is my favorite dungeon of all time, and (as far as I'm concerned) the ultimate dungeon ever done. But there is another dungeon that, next to Undermountain, is the best I've ever detailed and/or played. I used the map for the Tomb of the Great King from the Taladas Campaign Setting (it filled two card sheets you had to connect):

As you all probably remember, I changed quite a bit of the published material for Taladas - I did away with the Dragonlance moon magic nonsense, I changed some of the gods, and I re-wrote part of the history. So I made the continent my own. At one point in an early adventure, I used this map as the tomb/lair of one of the main villains of my campaign. Wrote up details for each and every room. It was, next to Undermountain, the best and most exciting dungeon crawl I ever ran. All the players agreed - it was FUN! Challenging as hell, scary, deadly. but FUN! Next to Undermountain, this is my favorite dungeon of all time!

I photocopied it in black and white and numbered the rooms. It was a blast!

Linking pdfs directly from trove doesn't work so well (at least on this site). I think going to the directory works though:

https://thetrove.net/

From there navigate to books, dungeons and dragons/2nd Edition/Dragonlance and the right click save time of the dragon boxed set. I have no idea why the sites linking pdf directly fails.
At the edge of madness, he will show no sadness
Never broken, he'll be back for more
Proven under fire, over trench and wire
No fear of death, he's unshakeable
Forged for the war, he's unbreakable

For some reason the link does not include all of the line and leaves out the last part after the ( sign. first parenthesis

It does work if you copy and paste the whole link and it takes you to the Dragonlance page.

I tried making it using the URL tag but when I did that it blanked out my whole post.
