Die rolling Aps, vs actual physical die?

Post by garhkal »

How many here (other than those who ONLINE game), have allowed players to use Die rolling Aps in game?
It's not who you kill, but how they die!

Kind of hard to see what they're doing and how legit they are. The game starts to lose the feel when you lose the dice imho.
At the edge of madness, he will show no sadness
Never broken, he'll be back for more
Proven under fire, over trench and wire
No fear of death, he's unshakeable
Forged for the war, he's unbreakable

Same here. There's something magical and visceral about rolling dice. It's more fun, I think. I've never had anyone ask to use a dice app (didn't know they even existed!) but I'd say no to it. How could I be sure they aren't able to program it to skew better results? Too high tech for me!
