Everything in green can also change to red and white as well. Missing from the picture are an additional ten 6' artificial trees that have 600 green, red, and white lights on them. Should have over 45,000 lights when all is said and done. Hopefully tomorrow night will be the first night it is animated.

I think you should add blue, orange, yellow, and pink.

Just kidding!

Too gloomy and dark for my tastes. :P (j/k)

Last night was the first night of the display. Around 20 cars came by to watch it as well as 15-20 people on foot. Not bad considering I didn't tell anyone it would be on.

The video was shot with a digital camera so the quality sucks. I hope to rent or borrow a 3CCD HD Video Camera in the coming days so I can capture better quality video.

Enjoy....

Very cool. Reminds me of the Trans Siberian Orchestra's rendition Wizards in Winter Xmas light display.

We were all too busy changing our shorts after seeing it!

Seriously, I didn't even see this post when you posted it. How I missed it is beyond me! Hey, how did you get the background so dark? Doirche, have you been shooting out street lights?

But yeah, holy shit, that is simply incredible man! I daresay I think you've outdone Holdman on this one.

Damn, I hope Doirche didn't electrocute himself with all those megawatts of lights! Doirche, where are the latest vids? I'm dying to see what else you did.

Here are the rest of the video's. IMO they came out WAY too dark. Blame it on operator error.

Jingle Bell Rock

Amazing Grace

Music Box Dancer

Next year I plan on having 8 songs programmed and a bunch of new lights in the show. Stay tuned.

I have 144 "channels" on the display already..... this is considering the red, green, and white on every "element" of the display. In order to add another SINGLE color would add a third new channels or approx 48 channels. To add two new colors would mean to add 96 new channels or 6 more Light O Rama controllers and 12 additonal 15 amp circuit breakers. This is not compunting the cost of the lights to make it look pretty.

Of course I could do this if I had L.E.D. lights on my house, but anyone want to donate the $12,000 it would cost to retrofit my lights with L.E.D.'s ?

I didn't think so
