The hardest thing about watchingTV adaptions are those "little" flaws. Yeah, I am annoyed by them but I came to realize years ago that TV shows, films and books are all distinctly different art forms with different conventions. Somethings are changed for commercial reasons or for to meet t...

Wow, I knew he was having some serious health problems but this is very sad. First Gary then Dave. Both were too young to go. RIP, Dave- you'll be missed.

It's shot in New Zealand by the same production company that did Hercules and Xena, but it's not silly like they are. Sam Raimi is the executive producer IIRC. I think it's shown on WGN but I'm not sure since my brother downloads it and we watch it off his Xbox' hard drive.

Legend of the Seeker?

Okay, this isn't really D&D/AD&D related but does anyone here watch Legend of the Seeker ? For those of you who haven't heard of it it's a TV series bases (loosely, I'd say!) on the Terry Goodkind book Wizard's First Rule. Overall I really enjoy it! :D The Pluses: The show has a pretty good ...

Wow, that's a great score! :D The local Last Stop CD shop in my area also sells used books; they actually have more books than CDs. The gaming stuff is hit-and-miss but I've found plenty of good stuff over the years. Nice thing is that no book in the store is over $8. So even the relatively common b...

Happy Holidays!

And a Merry Christmas to Hal and the BIP gang. I just finished my last final, so school is done for the semester- YAY! :D I don't go back til Jan 5th. This place has been quite, so I'll ask this: what classic D&D/AD&D products do you hope to find under your tree this year. And has anyone her...

I try to stop in regularly but I've been busy. First off, I work full time and attend school full time, too (after spending my adult life as a chef I decided to return to school to study computer network administration). Plus, I've been seeing a really great girl for about five months and she gets m...

All the current games masquerading as Dungeons & Dragons are completely irrelevant, IMO. Once TSR was bought by WotC the real game was doomed. Damn WotC!

Okay, I'm just thinking out loud here, but have you considered a fund drive? You could easily do a PayPal link. I realize you don't have a ton of traffic here so maybe it won't help much, but you're doing it for basically free, right?

I'd pony up. :)

Ron Kuntz also got really, really sick recently and was wiped out with exhaustion. That cuts it. I'm sending them to Rob and he's going to take th...
