Nice! A double whammy- the nostalgia of a family heirloom with the coolness of painted mini's. What could be better? 8)

Well, the 2nd season of Legend of the Seeker has wrapped, and sadly the show will not return again for a 3rd. :? But at least the season/series finale isn't a cliffhanger- the events of the story are all resolved satisfactorily, although not as they would have been if they'd have had several more se...

Ghosts as player characters are way out of line with 2E (or 1E) rules. PCs cannot play undead, and in any case a ghost would be evil and therefore not compatible with the rest of the party. Ghosts "hate goodness and life", so they would attack the other party members. Van Richten's Guide ...

Wow, almost three years exactly!

I just noticed that I joined on March 30th, 2007- that's almost exactly three years! Time really flies. Seems like just yesterday that I found this place (and of course, that Hal departed DF). Amazing!

I used to draw a lot, even had a bit of talent, but I stopped a long time ago. Other interests just won out. I often wish I'd have kept with it.

How was your summer?

Hi, everyone. Pretty quite here, everyone must be getting their last licks in before summer's gone. Mine kind of sucked- I did nothing but work. Last year I went camping maybe 8 times, but not once this year. Haven't fired up the chiminea, haven't got a fishing line wet, haven't even lit the charcoa...

I dreaded the big 40 until I realized it was as uneventful as the big 30. After 21 (or maybe 25) there are no significant numbers until you hit 50, then 75, then 100! :( It's hilarious that you say that- it's close to what I've always said. At 16 you can drive, at 18 you can vote...at 21 you can dr...
