Ok, quick story, then some cool pics!

My grandmother had this musical jewelry box that sat on her dresser since probably before I was born. I remember marveling at it even as a tiny child. I loved the Japanese design. When I got into painting miniatures, I told her never to throw it out, because I wanted it. Huge nostalgia attached to it, plus I always wanted to display some ninja and samurai figures on it. Shortly before she died, she gave it to me. So the other night I finally had some free time and remembered wanting to do this. Took some pics and used some different lighting for different shots and a few variants of the figures. Anyway...here are the pics! Enjoy!

Nice! A double whammy- the nostalgia of a family heirloom with the coolness of painted mini's. What could be better? Cool
