The hard part is finding mint condition maps. Most box set maps have been opened an used, so it's hard to get a really crisp copy. Myself, I've been wanting to get a nice set of Undermountain maps scanned into a crease-less file so I can print them up on high quality paper and frame them.

Careful examination reveals there are flaws in these maps usually where the most folds are. And of course the option of simply redrawing is there and a challenge for those who want it to be exact.

Well, ebay was having some sort of discount and I saw the 4 maps for ROU in I guess ok condition. Hard to tell with pics. When iget thrm, I'll compare to my my and decide which set will be cut into easily scanable chunks and then glued & laminated. Here's hoping it goes well.

Hopefully they're in good shape. Those maps are hard to find in mint condition. Even unfolded once or twice, then stored, the chipping begins.

Pretty sure map level 1 was taped. Hopefully they suffice for my idea.

Maps are said to have arrived at post. I'll check later today.

Level 1 has standard problem spots in a few folds but not too bad.
Level 2 was folded wrong so it looks a little bad in spors
Level 3 N/S looks pretty good.

What's your go-to software for creating maps? DUngeon specific (or dungeon and caverns)?

I have some made via hand, but i am wondering, if it would be better, to 're-create' them in a dungeon program to make them
A) bigger
B) Better looking?

I know from speaking with the mappers that a vector program is a huge must have when rendering maps. I spoke with Govi last Friday. He's doing some tweaks we needed to the Level 8 maps. I think he's still using Illustrator for the maps.
