Happy Thanksgiving!

Post by Beowulf »

I would like to take a moment bid a Happy Turkey Day to my fellow US-based BIP'ers! I cooked up a 20 lb bird...feels like I ate 10 lbs of it myself!  And there's still leftovers! 8)

It was good, it was fun, the poor turkey was one and done. It was the goods and it was hot, but as you can see, eating it make me a poet not.

:D

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

A belated Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I think I consumed 3,000 calories in one meal on Thanksgiving! Yikes! Actually, that's an exaggeration. Consuming more than 1,500 calories in one sitting releases a hormone that causes nausea.

On average, Americans consume around 4,500 calories on Thanksgiving Day, and 229 grams of fat (almost half a pound of fat!).

I was probably just a hair under that! It was delicious though!
