Tawnos, that is SICK, and I totally mean that in the positive vein it's sometimes made. Here come the questions you had to know were going to come...

1. How much time did it take to make?
2. How delicate is it?
3. How do you store it?
4. How does being merchant marines or pirates suit your players? (My players love seaborne adventuring).
5. If they like it a lot, do you find them caring less and less about landborne adventuring? Heh.
6. What type of printer is best to print it out and how draining was it on your color cartridge do you think?
Tired of clone MMOs? So are we!

1. How much time did it take to make?
I did not work on it straight and worked on and off with it for 2 months but it should take less then that if you have more time to work on it.

2. How delicate is it?
It is fairly stable and comes apart and goes back together easily. It is made out of 110p cardstock and the bases are strengthened with foam core.

3. How do you store it?
It is stored on the tops of my bookshelf right now but it can be stored in a storage contianer.

4. How does being merchant marines or pirates suit your players? (My players love seaborne adventuring).
It was a big hit and so far the players have enjoyed playing on the ship. I am coming up with more to do with it and add in some storylines and roleplaying so it is not all fighting.

5. If they like it a lot, do you find them caring less and less about landborne adventuring? Heh.
I have not come into that problem yet but so far I am going to keep going with the ship for a while as I am getting the players closer to the Undermountain Stardock as I added a star drive to the ship.

6. What type of printer is best to print it out and how draining was it on your color cartridge do you think?
It can be very ink heavy. I have seen another one done as B/W only and it was not to bad but the color really stands out.
I used an Epson Artisan 810 for my printing and on 110p cardstock paper.

VERY NICE!

I've been on a few sea adventures in AD&D and it would have been fantastic to have something like that to see what was really going on :)
