...because I thought that with real life consuming most of Halaster's time, and his trying to learn a new operating system on a new computer, he let things slide over here. It seemed to be quiet when I last visited...way too long ago.

In any event, General MacArthur has returned.

Well, actually Halaster is still busy on the project.
So he's quiet, yeah, but that's because he's "knee-deep" into research.

Well, today was the last day of class for the semester, so I should have more time for BiP, too! 8)

I stop by about once a day to see if there's anything new.

...except yesterday. Yesterday was a "me" day. 8)

Does that means that the 7th of May was your birthday ?
In that case, what a great day for such an occurance!! ^_^ (I was born this same day)

My large stack of gaming stuff got pruned some time ago. Though it's still a rather large stack. :)

Well, I've survived turning 40- so far!  Yes, I do at least have many large stacks of gaming material, although less time to make use of them than I'd like. I don't see it going away, though. 8)

I dreaded the big 40 until I realized it was as uneventful as the big 30. After 21 (or maybe 25) there are no significant numbers until you hit 50, then 75, then 100! :(

I dunno, I kinda thought 33 was an important change. Didn't Jesus die at the age of 32? Something like that?

Outliving Jesus. A major milestone, in my book.

It's hilarious that you say that- it's close to what I've always said. At 16 you can drive, at 18 you can vote...at 21 you can drink, at 25 your car insurance rates go down...but there's nothing to look forward after that til 55 when you get the Senior's Discount at Denny's! #@

Gawd, now I feel even older than I originally thought, seeing how close I am to 55. Thanks Beowulf.

Don't feel bad Varl. As far as certain laws are concerned in Illinois pertaining to housing, I was considered "elderly" the day I turned 40. I shit you not. "Elderly". At 40.

I decided to interpret that word according to the dictionary definition as "superior to another or others, as in rank" as opposed to "an older person".

I love getting older. All these white hairs appearing all over my body...damn! I finally LOOK like I'm SUPPOSED to have an opinion about things! 8)
