Help finding specific artist

Post by Halaster Blackcloak »

Does anyone know (or can find out) who did the art for I14 Iron Legion ? I just looked through it today and if I can get the artist's name, he'd be a possible candidate to do the art for RoUIII. The adventure module doesn't show art credits for the interior art, only for the cover. :?

At the edge of madness, he will show no sadness
Never broken, he'll be back for more
Proven under fire, over trench and wire
No fear of death, he's unshakeable
Forged for the war, he's unbreakable

Hmmm... yeah. I was trying to also see if there were initials on any on the art. TSR seems to br horrible at times for crediting their artists. Rather annoying.

We really, really need to find an artist. I don't want to wait to find one until after all the writing is done. Short of me getting hit by a meteorite or something, it looks like we'll have this project wrapped up before or by the end of summer. I definitely want it released before the end of the year.

Damn. He's 83 and retired. Fuck. I'm starting to think I'll either have to steal art or simply release it without art, which will suck.

I didn't see specific I14 art in his gallery though. I'm thinking they used several artists from here & there. TSR was very lazy not crediting the art so who knows.

Yeah, it sucks. Finding artists in insane. And these guys want fucking $250 for a single character drawing! Fuck, I'll do the art myself at that price! It'd cost me $5,000 for the art at that rate!

These artists charge outrageous prices. We need to find an artist who wants to be part of the fun of doing this project, not just out to make a quick buck. If I can sell this product in DM's Guild, I'd be willing to give the artist a cut and something for other contributors, depending on whether it made any real money. But no way can I afford to spend that kind of money on art. At the rates some of these guys want, it would run into the thousands of dollars.
