Undermountain room descriptions

Post by slade88green »

Was looking around the web and found a few things I thought I would share.

1- 100 room descriptions for Undermountain. I can see building around these and making some very nice areas and or encounters. http://www.padnd.com/html/utility_drgen.htm

2- This page has an introduction and at the bottom in a box that says "recent return to Undermountain" links to some room and encounter descriptions that are quite good. They are however built for 3.5, but can be re-worked. http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp? ... /20050309a

3- Downloadable room descriptions for level 1. These are not very good, but might be useful for a few ideas. http://www.candlekeep.com/library/artic ... m/roum.htm

There used to be more but the net eats itself up a lot and digests ads. Even the internet archive/wayback machine doesn't always help.

I'm lazy, and I still never bothered to try Dungeon Under the Mountain by 0one games to combine with Undermountain. Not a finished project but sandbox is sandbox.

I do hope to read the next section of Undermountain some day (assuming I can focus as I haven't been reading much lately). I want to see pictures of a fully printed box and spread out of the contents in detail. Some to look at and say....

DAMN!!! That's gooooooooddddd.....

McDeath, that will only happen a few minutes after anyone viewing it regains consciousness, gets up off the floor and changes his shorts! It's gonna blow everyone's mind.
