Cool news!

Post by Halaster Blackcloak »

Well, chalk up another piece of good luck for the BIP Project! I got a call from Rob Kuntz today, who was very impressed with the Caves of Sydwall module. He's agreed to co-write a BIP adventure with me, free of charge! :D

We discussed some ideas, and settled on a larger adventure that I had started outlining, and that fit in with some ideas he had. I'm hoping he can use his influence to get an artist for us so we won't have to go through that nightmare again.

So, it looks like BIP will have a release authored by Rob Kuntz. Talk about a feather in our cap...that's like a freaking full-scale head-dress! :D

Haven't settled on a name for it yet, but we'll decide that this week, and I'm puttering around with a sample cover as we speak. Stay tuned!

Hal, some people are going to be tossing and turning tonight when they see this news. By the way, I've slowly started getting back to work on my secret project for BIP. I'll shoot you over the cover and title page via email soon, since I'm quite proud of both of them. :)

You guys are gonna want to lynch me, but...

APRIL FOOL'S!!!

I always pull one on April 1st, but this year I've been so busy I didn't get a chance to really pull off a classic. Rob's busy with PPP, but I figured this was at least a believable joke since you all know I've been in touch with him and all that.

[Halaster ducks and runs while looking over his shoulder for Traveller and Varl with the rope!]

Oh, you dog. Nice one, Hal. Now you'll have to excuse me while I have this hook surgically removed from my lip.
