Re: Update - August 2022

I have lost entire projects to viruses and malfunctioning computers. The worse was when even backups had the infections or the computer was so old the drive wiped or broke. My worse offense was my Phlan Pools of Radiance and Curse of Azure bonds merging of the CRPG, webpages, the books, and the FRC ...

I'm not sure. They're practically in creature/monster territory.

Re: Are worgs irredeamably evil?

Maybe. Then again, I saw a turkey documentary of a guy raising baby turkeys, they eventually turned on him or ran wild. There is a big possibility the WORG views its alpha state as superior and stays such. I'd wager if they got any more intelligent they'd steer towards LE and if they got dumber into...

Re: Spelljammer 5e

It'll probably be the only one. A thing I am seeing with all these companies is this sleeve holder and 3+ hard bound books and loose maps & sceeen sets. The Dark tower KS is doing it, OAR 6 TOEE did it and probably many others. A SJ PURCHASE i should try is a few of the battle mats posters from ...

Re: Spelljammer 5e

Well Hal, it arrived today. Heft lil box feels like it weighs 5 lbs but the ancient luggage scale says 3 lbs. I'll get pics. There is a Hamster doing the cha-cha with a beholder, a giff, a mechanoid, a space monkey, a bearded mage (elminister or 5e Hal), and some other colorful buccanneers under a r...

Re: Wild large cats, that can be ridden??

That'd be my guess: Troll, Owlbear, Shambling Mound.

The issue: I don't recall shambling mounds in MOLDVAY nor MENTZER Basic-Expert-companion-Master-Immortal (really only have to focus basic-expert).

Yeah, that triple mob photo stuff from Easley started with the AC2 Combat shield+mini adventure.

Or maybe there is an older lineup.

Re: Wild large cats, that can be ridden??

Create a special breed. Now in D&D or Isle of dread maybe, I thought the Rakasta cat people rode smilodon sabre-tooth tigers. Obviously MOTU HE-MAN has Battle-cat & Panthor and even dinos and shit. Create a new rare breed bred by an isolated group. Boar riding sure seems popular amongst gobl...

Boxed Sets

Do you guys know if TSR Archive is spot on when it comes to the extra in the boxed sets. It seems I took all my cardboard extra out of my sets and misplaced them. I'm finding a few here and there during cleaning. I want to be sure I have the correct ones. The Greyhawk and other FR sets are also muss...

Re: Spelljammer 5e

I bet they used a random generator on some of that 5e UM. No... I'd get better results with a rando dungeon. Anyway, 23rd of august it ships i guess. I bet I won't be able to decipher any of it. Why'd I buy it? I'm curious on quality of the construction, errors, and how much was even retained. From ...

Re: Spelljammer 5e

The video 5e produced was rather stupid. I 'm not even sure on the source of this particular space hamster except maybe a BG reject (Baldur's Gate CRPG). https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DXtY7L4BmXM The two leads Chris Perkins & Trystan Falcone https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tlPGQiSwttg Odd they'd s...

Re: Ghoul Paralysis.. How long?

It has been a while. I remember my horrible experience with ghouls and nightcrawlers in moldvay D&D. There have been more than a few articles on the matter and the biggest was Kingdom of the Dead I think with the True Ghouls (was in Dragon & Dungeon. I was disappointed there wasn't an early ...

Re: Map sizes & printing

Level 1 has standard problem spots in a few folds but not too bad.
Level 2 was folded wrong so it looks a little bad in spors
Level 3 N/S looks pretty good.

Re: Diablo Franchise

Due to horrible customer service and game not installing via battlenet. It hanged consistently, I ordered a full refund. Besides, the character models for the remaster is ugly as sin. Blizzard had a stupid idea of only giving remaster keys through battlenet. Not everyone can or wants to play online....

Well, ebay was having some sort of discount and I saw the 4 maps for ROU in I guess ok condition. Hard to tell with pics. When iget thrm, I'll compare to my my and decide which set will be cut into easily scanable chunks and then glued & laminated. Here's hoping it goes well.
