Re: Megadungeon Ideas & Inspirations

I have not heard of that one before. I am not a big anime guy but I see season one is on amazon. I'll check it out.

This is a Metal Earth model I found at hobby lobby. For some reason when I try to post pictures nothing shows up including text. Here is a link to the model. It is a great size for a scaladar mini, just requires good eyes and some patience to put it together. https://www.brilliantpuzzles.com/Scorpio...

I came across this Metlal Earth model at Hobby Lobby and had to have it for a Scaladar miniature. Post keeps messing up. Lets try this again. Here is a preview of what level 1 looks like. It is tiny in comparison. Basically the size of the core rooms on the original map. http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2018/11/dd-dungeon-of-the-mad-mages-maps-are-intricate-and-massive.html They made Halaster a 20...

I own all the undermountain products produced in one form or another. I purchased the 5e undermountain yesterday. From a fairly quick look through it I have seen small levels, no sub levels and pretty easy travel from one level to another. They did create areas leading off the maps they made and lab...

My guess is that the levels will be much much smaller. Maybe somewhere on par with 3.5 edition expedition to castle greyhawk. It will be nowhere near what the dungeon really is.

I have got Skullport covered. I wrote in a cavern farm run by golems that load their harvest into various gates that transport it around the dungeon. They only transport organic material so any adventurer trying to use them to escape the golem guards will arrive at the destination naked.

I would leave it as is. If you don't tell people, its likely no one will ever know, plus it seems like it should start with #37A instead of #37, #37A. Your current method clears up any confusion that might happen and give you a fast way to see that its a series of rooms in the campaign guide.

Ways around Undermountain

Having been inspired by your recent progress, I have been working on level 4 some more. I was figuring out ways in and out and seem to recall that at one point I read that stairs between levels stopped at level 3 but for the life of me I cant find where I read that. Does anyone remember reading that...

I wouldn't jump in at level 7 of Undermountain. I would prefer to have a group work through some upper levels. The wandering monster list does have a lot of oozes/slimes, but being the slime level that seems appropriate. Needs undead, ones the slimes/oozes/jellies wont bother, incorporeal perhaps. W...

I have been thinking more and more about running an Undermountain campaign. I would love to run levels 7 and 8. I'm sure I speak for everyone, we are seriously looking forward to seeing this project! Undermountain room descriptions

Was looking around the web and found a few things I thought I would share. 1- 100 room descriptions for Undermountain. I can see building around these and making some very nice areas and or encounters. http://www.padnd.com/html/utility_drgen.htm 2- This page has an introduction and at the bottom in ...
