Today's my third day back at work after four long and glorious weeks of vacation. We've been to Paris this spring, so there was no cash left for another large trip and we spent the time at home and in the area, doing some short trips to the coast, visiting friends, bike riding, and so on. Since the ...

I never thought of T1-4 as a supermodule because the whole Nulb/Temple part of the adventure was completely new.

The others are just rehashes of old material with some additional stuff which is IMHO crappy and superfluous. I once owned all of them except B1-9 but sold them all again.

What kind of drawing style do you envision, Hal? Oldschool D&D or more along the 2nd edition line?

I just googled that film and found that it is uniformly rated as one of the worst flicks ever made... The picture of the castle sure is cool though... I was also surprised to read that Fritz Leiber played role in it.

I gotta hand it to you...it takes a very special person to be able to this noble job. My hats off to you. Very cool. 8) Thanks, my friend. :) It's actually a very rewarding job, which is why I'm happy with it. And although demanding at times, the main problem is the lack of public funding an...

I was invited here by McDeath just a few days ago. I'm 45 years old, live in Hamburg, Germany, and play D&D (1st edition) since 1980. I have no problems with later editions and actually use quite some stuff from 2E and 3E in my games. So I guess that saying that I play 1E isn't quite true - it's...

What about a level that consist of a series of rooms or encounter areas that are only connected via teleportals. Something in the line of the Adytum chapter in Monte Cook's Die Vecna Die! adventure or, on a way lower level, the old Lost Island Of Castanamir module. To make things more complicated, s...

I hear you. I spend between 2 and 6 hours each day in front of the PC to do all the mapping jobs for Dragonsfoot, Lakofka, Blackmoor etc., and I also have a family to care for and a job and other hobbies too! Sometimes I think of the money that this could bring me, but then I don't really care. It's...

I bought the East Mark Gazetteer this spring, which includes the Mouths of Madness starting adventure for the CZ campaign. It's basically a series of interconnected caves lying below the hill on which Castle Zagyg stands. The adventure is pretty good and reminds a lot of B2. There are actually a few...

Greyhawk. I never really got into the Realms, and although I very much liked the first publications (grey box etc), the latter development of the setting wasn't my cup of tea. I've recently purchased Goodman Games' Gazetteer of the Known Realms and really like what I see. I'm actually in the prepara...

Selling magic items that aren't needed (and buying new ones if possible) is something that nearly all of my players do when in town. The main problem here is that they need to find a buyer who is willing and able to pay the prices listed in the DMG and UA. ;) Very often this is only possible in big ...

New member, old thread. :) I'm using CC3 and have to say that I'm very fond of it. I'm aware that most people dislike the CC2/CC3 programs for several reasons, but aside from some minor issues I enjoy working with it, and up to now it served me well, producing a wide variety of very different lookin...
