I spent two weeks at a lake with about 20 members of my family. We rented cabins. Played a lot of poker with them.

The first three days were fine. The last 11 made me want to stay in bed until everyone else had left.

I dunno, I kinda thought 33 was an important change. Didn't Jesus die at the age of 32? Something like that?

Nice. When I get bored, I draw maps on graph paper. Lately I've been working on maps with 3-dimensional aspects to them -- I don't mean drawn in any of those tilted maps that came along in 2E, I just mean maps with stairs, overpasses, underpasses, etc., without leaving the dungeon level. Platforms. ...

Here's a comment I just read today: One of my biggest issues with the Legend of the Seeker might seem minor to some, but it's how some of the characters are portratyed.... why the **** is Darken Rahl not blonde? Why are Richard's eyes not gray? Why do so many women in the Midlands have long hair? Li...

The art style looks very familiar. I feel like I may have seen that image before somewhere! The round-y, bulge-y masses around the eyes of the hobbit and the dwarves.... I know I've seen that style before. But long ago. So long ago. I can't put a name to any of it, just a feeling of foreverness.

Doctors never talk. They use the placebo effect -- don't tell the patient what's going on, just tell them it's all under control and that they'll feel better soon. "And if this doesn't work, we can try a few more things." They charge for the visit, do nothing, then tell you to come back if...
