AI ART: And how it continues to change

Well, I’ve finally seen a type of art from AI I was rather surprised to see. I won’t say it is exceptional but it isn’t entirely terrible from the few examples I’ve seen. So, this fellow created a booklet for his game and is giving it away for free (the digital book not the game). http://lore.zorbus...

Re: Megadungeon Ideas & Inspirations

Now, if you think that’s impossible about the Mad Mage Dungeon take a look at DFs own publication by Joseph Mohr : (all of his stuff appears to be PWYW which is nice. The Dark Citadel I checked this 25 level? dungeon (I need to read to see if these are levels or entire map regions) and its page coun...

Re: Megadungeon Ideas & Inspirations

Now this popped up recently that I found interesting: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/augustmcdaniel/deepstone-depths-mega-dungeon?ref=discovery_category_newest While it pales in size of many mega dungeons, it is probably NOT KEYED AT AT ALL; it does have sectional files for breaking up the dun...

Re: GRR 5e...

Would a Lawful Good paladin kill evil baby orcs (or w/e their example was…) It's led to decades of idiotic arguments about the ethics of fantasy worlds—D&D's version of "Would you go back in time and kill Hitler as a baby?" is "Is it Lawful Good for a Paladin to kill a Chaotic Evi...

Re: Megadungeon Ideas & Inspirations

I know I downloaded the original of this or some title similar somewhere. I forgot to upload that slime pits and other mega dungeon module. Ya’ll know if I have one of these modules I’ll gladly host it on mediafire. Tonisburg I can’t unless I scan it. That KS was a physical product. I’ll have to see...

This article. https://www.pcgamer.com/im-so-relieved-baldurs-gate-3-doesnt-have-dandds-alignment-system/ Yeah, why would I care? Why even bother with using D&D or WOTC at all. Many say this is just a reskinned amplified game in the Divinity series of games. It is a freakshow for certain screamin...

Megadungeon Ideas & Inspirations

I don't recall a generic topic on this but I recently caught wind of a rather gruesome anomaly of an anine. Yeah, I know; not the most epic of areas to delve. This one looks flippin childlike and a lot of reviewers thought so toobut it gets dark fast. In a way, it makes me think of the Yawning Porta...

Re: Using the WEB spell, when OUTSIDE?

Actually, I always thought undead were quite stealthy even skeletons & zombies. Once you get to ghouls you're like in gollum and worse territory. Horror movie undead are always jump scaring.

Re: Using the WEB spell, when OUTSIDE?

Can't ogres bust through web spells pretty fast? I'd probably stick with BTB to KISS it and be done with it. Tangent/ If D&D was more micronanaged things like higher level and int would affect duration, area, strength of spell. As is many spells are just flat dur/range etc. INT has practically z...

Re: Using the WEB spell, when OUTSIDE?

Gotta admit that old spidey is pretty cool. Enlarged mega strong mage web a foe and swing it around like the hammer throw and release. Pull em off a bridge into the crevasse below. Grab a weapon etc and pull it away. Tie up some hand and pull the feet from a foe. Empire strikes back..... run around ...
