 | Loki is such a cowardly wretch, now that he's blind! Here we see the REAL reason Loki is contacting the Avengers! He finally realizes that Dormammu is using him as a pawn, and that he threatens Loki's own designs at conquest. Surely he can't allow some mystical being from the Dark Dimension to take control of the Earth's dimension, with its links to Asgard. That would present a problem for Loki in his own future schemes to overthrow Asgard and take Odin's place. So he secretly sends an astral projection to the Avengers in order to recruit them to stop the Defenders from obtaining the Evil eye, thus thwarting Dormammu's plans. |
